Blog no. 4 (4' 33") Garage Band

Starting off with only little experience in Garage Band, there was definitely a learning curve to develop the skills. The software was a lot of fun to get to know, learning how to properly mix together different abstract sounds into a coherent audio clip. Sound effects could be endlessly in creative ways with interesting results often being incorporated into the larger sound. Looking back at the project there was a definite improvement in skills gained through playing around with the software which made making the "music" such a uniquely creative platform for a traditionally non-digital artist.
